This week we want to share one of our kitchen staple recipes with you, Tahini Dressing. This simple dressing can be used on salads, grilled chicken and fish or used as a dipping sauce for your favorite crudités.
Tahini which is made from ground sesame seeds is a great source for the minerals phosphorus, iron, magnesium, potassium and calcium. Tahini also contains heart healthy fats as well as cholesterol lowering antioxidants from sesamin and sesamol lignans.

Makes 1 cup
Gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, egg-free, nut-free and no processed sugar.
½ cup tahini
¼ cup filtered, lukewarm water (add more if dressing is too thick)
1 clove garlic
1 T fresh lemon juice (or more to taste)
½ tsp sea salt
1 t pure maple syrup
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Store in a jar in the fridge!
